Strata’s Approach To Condominium Mediation

Condominium mediation is a specific type of mediation that focuses on resolving disputes between condominium owners, the condominium board of directors, the property management company for the most part (and/or the condominium developer). These disputes may arise from disagreements over property maintenance, common area use, assessment fees, or other issues related to the condominium community, construction defects, neighbor disputes, zoning issues, etc.

Mediators trained and experienced in condominium law can help the parties involved in the dispute to communicate effectively and economically, identify their underlying interests, and work together to find a mutually acceptable solution. Our neutrals have literally seen it all. Usually from both sides and STRATA believes that experience and knowledge will help the parties resolve their dispute more quickly and effectively.

Condominium mediation can be a cost-effective and efficient way to resolve disputes, as it can often be completed in a shorter timeframe than going through a formal legal process. It can also help to maintain positive relationships between the parties involved in the dispute, which is particularly important in a community where people live in close proximity to one another.

If you are involved in a dispute related to your condominium community, consider seeking the assistance of a trained mediator who can help you reach a collaborative solution.
